THE LERASS
THE LABORATORY
The Laboratoire d'Études et de Recherches Appliquées en Sciences Sociales, a multi-disciplinary laboratory at the Toulouse 3 University - Paul Sabatier, brings together teacher-researchers, PhDs, and doctoral students working in the fields of information and communication sciences, language sciences, social psychology, and law.
The mediation issues addressed by these disciplines weave together research conducted in fields and using methodologies common to the humanities and social sciences. The laboratory currently has 154 members.
RESEARCH STRUCTURING
Since January 2020, the research unit has been restructured around the following themes:

- Social uses of verbal language
TUTELAGE
Created in 1983 and a host team since 1990 (EA 827), the laboratory is currently headed by Valérie Bonnet (Toulouse 3 University), assisted by Pascal Marchand, Nathalie Spanghero-Gaillard (Toulouse 2 University) and Céline Paganelli (Montpellier 3 University). The management committee reports to the three supervising universities.

ATTACHED COURSES
LERASS is a support laboratory for several university courses in the fields of information and communication, language sciences, etc.: see dedicated section.
It is also attached to 2 doctoral schools: ALLPH@ (Toulouse 2 and Toulouse 3 Universities) and ED60 (Montpellier 3 University).
